Zhangjiajie College of Jishou University has a road planted with ginkgo trees, named Ginkgo Road. Looking from afar, the smear of golden yellow, yellow dazzling and brilliant, as if fresh lives are blossomed.

Yangjiajie Scenic Area is located in the northwest of Zhangjiajie, adjacent to Tianzi Mountain in the north, and crosses Zhonghu Township at the west end of Wulingyuan District, consisting of three small scenic spots: Xiangzhi Rivulet, Longquan Gorge and Hundred Monkey Valley. ▲天门山寺位于张家界市区南8公里处的天门山，始建于唐朝，是湘西地区的佛教中心。到了近代，天门山旧寺日渐衰颓，现仍有遗址可寻。现在的天门山寺为原址重建，占地万余平方米，采用清代官式风格，由山门、钟鼓楼、天王殿、大雄宝殿、观音阁、藏经阁、法堂等建筑组成，是目前湖南省境内海拔最高的佛教建筑群。

Tianmen Mountain Temple is located in Tianmen Mountain, 8 kilometers south of downtown Zhangjiajie, and was built in the Tang Dynasty as a Buddhist center in western Hunan Province. In modern times, the old temple of Tianmen Mountain has been degenerating day by day, but there are still remained sites to find now. The present Tianmen Mountain Temple was rebuilt on the original site, covering an area of more than 10,000 square meters, in the official style of the Qing Dynasty, consisting of the Mountain Gate, the Bell and Drum Tower, the Temple of Heavenly King, the Mahavira Hall, the Guanyin Pavilion, the Depositarry of Buddhist Texts, the Dharma Hall and other buildings, and they are currently the Buddhist architectural complex with the highest altitude in Hunan Province.
