张家界（堡子界）国际旅游度假区位于永定区石长溪国有林场内，距天门山国家森林公园5公里，距市中心城区22公里，规划总面积约11.21平方公里。

堡子界早年又名诸鱼山，主峰海拔1200多米，因山脊突兀如堡垒得名堡子界。堡子界与雄伟的天门山遥遥相望，素有“天门山后花园”之称。在这里，可观看到张家界天门山后的景象，山间弥漫的云雾与层叠交错的梯田，勾勒出美如画卷的“云上田园”，吸引着无数户外及摄影爱好者前往。 饕餮 摄

The Zhangjiajie (Baozijie) International Tourist Resort is located in the Shichangxi state-owned forest farm, Yongding District, 5km away from the Tianmen Mountain National Forest Park, 22km away from the city center, the planned total area is about 11.21k㎡.

Baozijie was also known as Zhuyu Mountain in early years. The altitude of the main peak is higher than 1,200m, Baozijie is named for the ridges as abrupt as fortresses. Baozijie and the grand Tianmen Mountain look at each other, it is recognized as the“rear garden of Tianmen Mountain”.The scenes behind the Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain can be seen in Baozijie, the diffuse clouds and mist and staggered terraces on the mountains outline the“over-the-top fields and gardens”as beautiful as a painting scroll, attracting numerous outdoor and photography amateurs.
